It has come to this author’s attention that the Philadelphia Flower Show has revealed a garden display so extravagant, one could easily mistake it for the setting of the wedding of the season.

Towering arrangements of blooms, butterflies floating through candlelight, and tables prepared for the most elegant celebration… a scene worthy of the finest love story in all the ton.

One can almost picture it now — guests arriving in their finest attire, the soft music of a quartet drifting through the air, and a couple moments away from their grand entrance.

From the very beginning, Lydia & Zach envisioned a day that felt classy, cozy, and perfectly summer—nothing overdone, just intentional, United in Christ, and full of heart.

Before guests arrived, some of the most beautiful moments happened behind the scenes. Surrounded by her bridesmaids, a beautiful prayer was shared over Lydia before she and Zach shared their first moments together through a first look, a private vow exchange, and a foot washing ceremony—a symbolic moment rooted in humility, love, and service to one another. Intimate, emotional, and such a true reflection of who they are as a couple.

Their day was filled with thoughtful, personal touches—many designed and created by Lydia herself. One of the sweetest moments came when Zach’s grandfather served as ring bearer, bringing smiles all around. From a champagne tower to donuts (because cake and donuts is always the right choice), every detail came together effortlessly, creating a day that felt authentically them.
